Service
Trusty provides identity verification infrastructure — identity document checks, guided liveness, face matching and proof of address — delivered through an embeddable widget, a server-to-server API and signed webhooks.
Acceptable use
Clients are responsible for lawful use in their jurisdiction, for the legal basis of each verification they request, and for the accuracy of the metadata they send to the service. The widget shows end users a privacy notice and asks for their consent before any capture.
Automated decisions
Results are produced by automated analysis. When a client enables manual review, some verifications wait for a decision by the client’s own reviewers.
Evidence and retention
Evidence retention is configurable per contract. A data processing agreement is available on request.
